The Importance of Color and Print Visualization<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exploring multiple colorways per style is a crucial industry practice, whether for market adaptability or fine-tuning print and color choices. With serial photorealistic rendering, we can efficiently compare and evaluate different color and print iterations, enabling informed pre-production decision-making for our clients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

An added advantage? When handling carryover items for the next season, print or color adjustments can be carried out swiftly, a very powerful tool.To accurately simulate printing techniques, such as heat transfer, sublimation, or all-over textile prints, or even embroidery, or embossing, the correct use of material maps is essential. These maps dictate how prints interact with different fabrics, ensuring realism in texture, shine, and relief. Of course, achieving true-to-Pantone color accuracy is a fundamental part of this process.<\/p>\n

Before applying prints, we first create virtual textiles and materials, digitally mirroring real-world fabric properties based on a swatch or detailed material specifications. This intricate process is handled in-house, where we build up knits and weaves from the first fiber. The result? Apart from the drape, which is a subject by itself, the mentioned maps handle shininess, reflection, fabric relief, and more. When combined with our artworks, they ensure that each print appears exactly as intended for its respective printing technique, or embossing techniques.<\/p>\n

From print concept to high-res renders and turntables.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For this surfwear collection, we had free hands and a a lot of fun digging into complex print designs with seamless repetition, leveraging manual design tools, Adobe Suite, and AI-driven ideation. The final 4K renders provide a detailed preview of every colorway, including close-up shots of intricate details, offering a highly accurate visual reference.<\/p>\n

Beyond Marketing: A fully detailed digital asset<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It’s important to note that these renders are more than just images\u2014the underlying file is an information-rich container, embedding patterns, stitchings, trims, color, material, and print details, representing a complete digital product ready for creation. While AI-generated photos may provide valuable conceptual inspiration, they do not reach the same level of precision and depth required for real-world manufacturing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
