Even after limited usage, the strength of the fabric was compromised and porosity substantially increased.<\/p>\n<p>The innovation of this material is the process of weaving metallised fibers, &#8230;they don\u2019t absorb the damaging UV rays.<\/p>\n<p>Now an aluminum mixture lends the silver fibers their shine:<\/p>\n<p>fine tuned build up of nanocoatings are the key to the stability of the metallised cloth.<\/p>\n<p>This fabric, with the shiny metal surface and a weight of only 29g\/m2, fascinates with its aging characteristics&#8230; multiple times higher than those of similar ultra light cloths.<\/p>\n<p>Skywalk (paraglider manofacturer) together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerostatix.de\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aeroix<\/a> are developing this project.<\/p>\n<div id=\"gtx-trans\" style=\"position: absolute; left: 347px; top: 800.2px;\">\n<div class=\"gtx-trans-icon\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just as within the field of aviation, the development of new materials plays a huge part in paragliding.
